"Thanks for the reply Jilden. That has given me a few things to try.  It is highly possible the cage has been distorted by a drive side fall caused by an unfortunately timed gust of wind while i was taking my bike out of the car."

"It won't move unless the cable is being stressed by the stop screw. Many shifters have a small knurled nut on the outer you can rotate to tighten the cable and therefore move the derailleur outwards. The H screw only comes into play if the…"

Hopefully just a quick and simple question:My front derailleur (ultegra 6800) is shifting all good but i'm getting a slight (but very annoying) chain rub on the outside of the front derailleur when im in my 11x52. So i figure i need a slight adjustment of H screw but when i do this the derailleur does not move at all (clockwise or anti). "Thanks for the info Steven! Much appreciated.  This had made me much more comfortable with the sizing and ordering aspect. I think Canyon is the way I will be going! I saw the TDU canyon ride thing... very cool!"
