I had been swapping an SRM power meter between my road and TT bikes. Not a big deal, but annoying. I ended up buying a Stages PM to fit to my TT bike so I had a more permanent solution for both…Continue
Apologies if this has been posted before.Just watched this video on the cycling way of life in Holland, particularly Amsterdam. The thing that stood out for me was that they had come from a very car…Continue
With Ironman Western Australia being my second Ironman distance race for the year and probably the last for a while, I thought I'd put down a few thoughts on what worked or didn't work out this time around. I'll keep a bike focus.
The Build Up
The build up for this race was somewhat different to my last (IM Melbourne). For one I kept the bike mileage relatively high quite early in the base phase, out to around 14 weeks…Continue

As mentioned there are 3 legs (swim, bike run). There is also nutrition that I take within 15mins of the start (not my pre…Continue
I had an opportunity to do some riding whilst on a recent stop over on the Gold Coast on my way up to Cairns for a Half Ironman.
