"I guess we'll never know why Wakefield to Carrington was changed since the council has not made any real effort at publicity or consultation - there is clearly no change in the number of lanes of traffic since there are concrete curbed…"

"My thoughts after riding tonight, the first time I've seen it open for all 5 blocks (Grenfell to Carrington): * The colour is dreadful. They've painted signage on the path in... you've guessed it... white! Yes, white signage on an…"

"I agree with all of this. I couldn't believe the lack of indicators that it's meant for bikes, not pedestrians. They probably tried to make it look "prettier" by omitting the green paint, any signage and adding all the…"

"Michael, thanks for the images, which record little protection now from out-of-control vehicles.I rode the first Frome Bikeway infrequently, because away from my normal routes. However, I enjoyed seeing women, and actually…"

"Those photos of the SUV parked in the planters is just beautiful. I marvel at the lack of low-speed car control that some people seem to have. I laugh, but it's a wry laugh when I realise that the same people will be driving at high speed…"

"I've only seen pedestrians there because the adjoining footpath was completely closed off. When it is open, then it will be interesting to see how it goes! I wonder when the section from Grenfell to Rundle will be started though. As far as I am…"

"Where is this Canberra bike lane? Anyway, the original Frome Street bikeway (south of Pirie Street) was very well used, and was used by all abilities of cyclists, as far as I could tell. Certainly many went well over 10 km/h.  This new stretch…"
