Ride this Saturday

This coming Saturday 27th July, I'll be celebrating my 70th Birthday with a ride to Mt Lofty, where we'll be meeting up with people who will have hiked from Waterfall Gully and other friends who are driving there. The plan is to meet at the Old Toll Gate at 9am and expect to arrive at Mt Lofty by 11 where there'll be a small celebration. Anyone can join. No presents please.See More

What's happened to Australian Cyclist Magazine?

For years I've enjoyed getting the "Australian Cyclist" magazine as part of my BISA life-membership. A few months back a soppy flower-power rag called "Treadlie" started appearing instead. As far as I'm concerned the content of "Treadlie" is totally not worth reading, and a bit of an insult to those of us who think cycling has a serious fun future.

Note that you are a life member of BISA. My membership fee is due and I dislike Treadlie (which I have told BISA). Might investigate Bicycle Network and their rideOn magazine.
