VOLUNTEERING: Final call for volunteers for the National Cyclo-Cross Champs/Series 20-21 August! Entries are now open for the Australian Cyclo-Cross Championships on Saturday 20th August. It’s the 2016/17 Season Aussie cyclo-cross championship on the UCI calendar – so if you are racing your age group, your age is taken on 31 Dec 2017, hoorah you’re a year older!  J15, J17, Expert (19-29), Masters 1 (30-34), Masters 2 (35-39) etc, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7+ are the domestic age-group categories, while the U19, U23 and Elite categories are UCI events and riders in those can earn international points for eternal cyclo-cross fame on the world rankings.

ENTER THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS HERE:

Entries also open for the National Cyclo-Cross Series Race 5 which is Sunday 21 August. Ages are taken on 31 Dec 2016 (this year’s age groups). Also includes support events, Little Crossers and Juniors.

ENTER THE NATIONAL CROSS SERIES RACE 5 here:

Both days will be great with plenty of food and drink options, race with and then cheer on Australia’s best (and worst, who cares!).  You don’t get this opportunity very often, so jump in and have fun.

Just a reminder to not go and practice on our old race courses, let the parks heal up. Following recent events which have been particularly wet, we are fielding serious concerns from the Adelaide City Council which places our events in jeopardy (both financially post-event, and the viability of access to the parks in future).

See you at States!
