Wow not much activity in this group, looks like everyone is too busy to cycle slowly! ! :-)
I am just new to cycling (& over 50) so slow cycling is about all I can do.
French classic revived.
One of my favourite memories was last summer cycling around and around an empty hospital carpark with my teenage kids, and seeing which of us could do the best tricks.
Meanwhile, here is my latest slow cycling image: Our 2.5 year old having a snooze in his pyjamas on the way to child care one recent morning. Not tweed, but certainly near the opposite end of the spectrum from lycra. There isn't much slower or less sporty than a good old bakfiets Dutch family bike.
That might not scratch an itch as well as tweed for some ;)
Tweed's so old hat - How about a "Festival of Polyester"?
