Hi all,

My name is Robert Simms and I am standing as a candidate for Area Councillor in the coming Adelaide City Council elections.

Sustainability is a key part of my platform and I am committed to making Adelaide a leading sustainable city. Part of this means improving our pedestrian and cyling infrastructure and ensuring road design encourages cycling (as well as protects the safety of cyclists!).

You can read more about my plans here: http://robertsimms.com.au/2014/09/12/making-adelaide-a-leading-sust...

If elected, I will be a strong voice for the cycling community at the Council table.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch: rob.simmsforadelaide@gmail.com

Kind regards,

Good luck with your campaign Robert!  You are such a contrast to some of the candidates who want to rip out bike lanes and take Adelaide back to the 1950s.

Good Luck Robert.  Candidates who are willing to invest in cycling infrastructure are great for our city and should be supported by the cycling community.
