Where In The World Is My Bike?
A few of these minor brain teasers popping up on sydneycyclists of late .
Here is a local one ;-) I was actually photographing the local flora (eek!) in the first instance.

Jack Watkins Reserve, off Churchill Rd? It has the right kind of power poles.

Not Jack Watkins Reserve.

Somewhere on the hills face looking northwest over the northern suburbs?  (I'm having trouble finding a vantage point on a road with a similar view including the HV power line.)

Time a little after sunset?

Hills face - yes, little after sun-set - yes, northern suburbs - no.

What Solar System body was I photographing? (other than my "space-ship" MtBike ;-)

PS: the photo was not at all recent.. some years ago ...

Probably McNaught's, which was the most spectacular comet I've seen in Australia, about 10 years ago? Aha, here we go, almost exactly 10 years ago: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C/2006_P1

No idea where, though.

Somewhat east of Palomino Rd Auldana, looking SW. There's one of those powerlines heading south along that way.

Oops, been down the Coorong..

That's the place but time and space??

Haven't the foggiest really, I've never had the urge to watch comets. But in the spirit of the game, Halley's Comet, 1986?

I had to walk about 400m to Penfold Park. It was a very bold feature against the setting sun. I have another photo taken on my driveway, so I didn't have to go so far ;-)

Not Halleys - I came back from my Japan stint in 2000, after that.

The file name gives it away :) - see my guess from Sunday, above.
