Quoting from the article linked to above:
"The court ruling - which can be downloaded via the UCI - is going viral on the internet, with cycle sport fans incredulous at paragraph two of the ruling.
This states that Landis must no longer claim that McQuaid and Verbruggen "have concealed cases of doping, received money for doing so, have accepted money from Lance Armstrong to conceal a doping case, have protected certain racing cyclists, concealed cases of doping, have engaged in manipulation, particularly of tests and races, have hesitated and delayed publishing the results of a positive test on Alberto Contador, have accepted bribes, are corrupt, are terrorists, have no regard for the rules, load the dice, are fools, do not have a genuine desire to restore discipline to cycling, are full of shit, are clowns, their words are worthless, are liars, are no different to Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, or to make any similar other allegations of that kind."
That paragraph starts sort of sensible and then just keeps getting more hysterical.
Luvvit Garry, thanks.
"... are terrorists..." LOL!
Ouch - $ terms as well, guess Landis has a few $ but its gotta smart!
Landis doesn't care - the ruling only applies in Switzerland and he didn't even bother sending a lawyer to contest the case.
The Paul Kimmage case is much more interesting.
A good read is BAD BLOOD - - The secret life of the Tour de France by Jeremy Whittle. He reveals all, including names.
