The cyclist, a 44yo woman from Strathalbyn, is in a critical condition.

Awful news, even when you realise you do not know the injured person.

Awful news. Thoughts are with the rider. Hope she pulls through!

The road was closed for about 6 hours. This increased my apprehension.
Another website posted a photo (cannot find now) of a vehicle with impact damage on the left of the windscreen.
SAPOL update that the cyclist died 27-Feb-2020 in the morning.
Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at crimestopperssa.com.au

AC members naturally feel a bond when a fellow cyclist becomes a road casualty (injury or worse).
Condolences to her family and friends.
