I have a nice pair of Louis Garneau  road shoes , which are a bit over 2 years old and the heel pads are wearing out . So I was hoping to repair or replace these pads .

Has anyone done this,  or know how to repair them  ?  Or should I just "bite the bullet" and buy a new $ $  pair ?

i'd go to clark rubber, there may be some thick rubber mat that you could cut and shape with a knife or a dremel then screw on.  you might even find something at bunnings. another option is a shoe repair place, those guys can fix anything

whatever you do ,don't use them without replacing the heel pad first as the carbon soles wear away quickly. I learnt that the hard way .
