Number of GW Riders today : CIRCA 46
*** TODAY's GW RIDE PHOTO GALLERY BELOW ***
Hi all. I am filling in for Paul and David today as they have other commitments. Great to be back!
In fact, Paul led a group of GW Members to Two Wells to join Kerryn Harvey on her START FOUNDATION charity ride to the RAH. Paul and the GW crew will tell you more about that when they get back to Gawler later today.
Meanwhile, another group of 35 GW Members enjoyed a fabulous GW Group 58 km ride on an awesome Autumn morning to Wasleys and Freeling. The weather was perfect. A nice temp, little wind and the usual wonderful GW comradeship to make it a most enjoyable morning on the bike.
Stay tuned.................... as those who rode today tell you a lot more about today’s GW Experience.
PS >>> all comments on the next two week’s GW ride reports go into the draw to WIN a $25 CAFÉ FARINA VOUCHER!!! All AC and GW Members can enter!!
NEXT WEEK: We head way up into the HILLs again. Ride details will be posted on AC Events and YOU are welcome to attend!
***PS: WE did have a couple of GW Members mis-behaving this morning, ie who attempted to copy Peter Sagan re parking their bikes when they got back home. We do not condone or support this!

Craig (R) ......trying to explain again why he was 15 minutes late this morning! Tell us again why Craig???↓
We had 4 re-group stops this morning. They are important to GW as they provide an opportunity for the slower riders to catch up, to have a nice chat …....AND also to enjoy the view.↓
Finally, we leave you with a clip of one of our GW Members singing an Elvis song to his cockatoos. As you will see one of the cockatoos likes Elvis, ..............the other not so much! (The last minute is just MAGIC!)
Gawler Wheelers is all about comradeship, fun, fitness and chasing our dreams. Join the GW group on AC. Come on our rides. Until next week >> Cheers for now...Frank.
And we are lucky to have this amazing food at out fingertips!
Paul and David, well done on organising the media coverage.
Excellent coverage for GAWLER WHEELERS, and also THE wonderful cause for GW to suppport.

Great write up and picture, thank you Paul. Just a shame Andrew Scully is not in this pic. He arrived a few minutes after it was taken but is in the picture taken with the group once we reached the city.
It is nice to see these sort of reviews as some people tend to only see the bad side of cycling. This is what it is all about, being able to use our love of our sport to help others in need. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the ride.
Great to see your personal touch on the report Frank. I had wanted to join the start foundation ride but am still off the bike.
Looks like both groups had a good day out. Look forward to joining you all at Farina's for a coffee soon.
