Disappointed, but not surprised. Today's InDaily (2nd December 2019) contains an article informing us that yet again Adelaide City Council is putting off a decision re an east-west cycleway. There's even a suggestion that they may be favouring Pirie St / Waymouth St over the previously-approved Flinders St / Franklin St route. I commute daily along part of Waymouth St - too install separated bike lanes along Waymouth St they'd have to rip up all the wide footpaths they spent $$$ installing not too long ago.

that is how they work, spend millions in taxpayers funds then wreck it all a couple of weeks later and change the design, spend more taxpayer funds.
It is a couple of the powerbroker group on the elected Council who don't ride bikes of course that have got it in their heads that Pirie/Waymouth should be the choice. ACC staff recommended Flinders/Franklin.
