Cobwebs has conducted a Saturday morning ride for the last 18 years and has a significant percentage of female riders.
Commencing on Saturday 23rd March 2019, Cobwebs will be commencing a female group ride for females who are already riding but who are seeking a regular and well-organised group ride and who would prefer to ride, either initially or on an on-going basis, with a female group. This group will be led by Rosemary, who is a well-experienced Cobwebs ride leader.
The group will be riding at an average speed in the order of 27 kph but will be a no-drop ride. An additional faster group may be established at a later date.
As with our other seven Cobwebs groups, riders will be able to move to other Cobwebs groups.
The route will be the same as the regular Cobwebs Ride which starts every Saturday at 8.00 AM from Tarniwarra Reserve on Cygnet Court, North Glenelg and travels to Outer Harbor to then return to the Watermark Hotel on Adelphi Terrace, Glenelg North for coffee. This is a flat course of 53km return and has relatively light traffic.
If you’re already riding and are looking for a structured group ride, you are most welcome on our new ride.
You can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any specific queries but you are welcome to just arrive a bit before 8.00 AM and ask for Rosemary.
