I'd like to thank everyone involved too, especially Mark and Spartacus for organising such a wicked event and looking after us along the way. Definitely no doubt in calling it the hardest day on a bike Ive had too. I'll never look at a Lofty run or Norton Summit ride the same way again: "Climbing? Thats not a climb! This is a climb"

A great big thanks to Adam, Spartacus, photographers, and all the other masochists on their bikes on Sat. It was a top day, probably the hardest day ever on a bike for me, still sore & tired today!! Sorry I didn't stay for a coffee, but felt I'd used up my leave pass from the family by then. Congratulations one & all!

To everyone involved in todays ride  What a great crew to ride with, an even better back up crew and photographers doing this stuff free of charge and all day continuously urging everyone on.Awesome.  This ride today is possibly the best ride and most torture I've endured for a while on the bike.It was raining hurt bombs all day.  I loved it.  Thanks to everyone who made it a legendary ride.  To anyone who did all 13 climbs - Your all bloody legends!!!!!!!!!  We should be doing some sort of Tee shirt "I survived Adams dirty dozen or something".

I'm also lamenting not taking any video. Might have conveyed the sense of STEEP a lot more than static shots. Sorry guys - Next Year ;)

Ok..  thanks to all my photogenic models out there today..  hopefully I captured some of the sense of achievement and of course pain. I've reduced the photo sizes by about half to speed up the uploading but it's still taking ages.. also havn't done any post-processing adjustments. The 1st 2 hills are up..  I'll keep plodding on so keep checking back

If anyone wants an original let me know

enjoy ...  click here

p.s. pity I didn't record any video...  but some of it might well have been censored!

Uploading photos - for instant gratification.

(You can click on the Thumbnail box in the top right hand corner to get an overview you can see - rather than the list view - Think there should be 309 by the time its finished)

Its including all the ones where I stuffed up the auto focus etc. I might try and sort them a little later - once they are up there.

I think it will upload them randomly over the next few hours (1.1Gbytes). Nothing very stunning in there from a photographic perspective, but at least some "I was there" documentation for all of you, who I witnessed do what I could only dream of! ( I was gobsmacked by the number of people making it all look perfectly straightforward!)

Had a ball, hope I didn't piss anyone off with the camera & vehicle!

Yeah, standards here too.

What's wrong with you, Adam?  Do you hate legs, or something?  What a spectacular day, wel organised, well run, and a smidge of luck with the weather.  Look forward to getting mangled again next time!
