Event Description

In response to a number of requests, time to go for a coffee run along the Linear Park/Coast Park! We will meet at Elder Park, roll out along the Linear Park to Henley Beach, then along Coast Park to the West Beach Surflifesaving Club for a coffee, (and maybe some of their awesome pancakes!). Turn around, and head back to town.
Again, this is an unsupported ride, and you will be taking part at your own risk. You will need to carry your own spares, phone, drinks, ride snacks, camera etc etc. Good chance for an easy paced ride tho.
Total ride distance is about 35km I am guessing, and pretty much flat.
Both paths are suitable for any sort of bike, and riders of any capability, so I will be on either a mountain bike, or the Smudgemobile, pending how much I want to play off the paths!
I always tell my people at work though, bikes must be roadworthy, helmets must be worn at all times, and when riding along these paths look out for walkers and oncoming cyclists!

Great ride, guys!

Very enjoyable and a good turnout despite the inclement weather.

I'm looking forward to the next Adelaide Cyclists' event!

weather is looking a bit too much like the storm that got us at Womad. We'll have to wait until the next attempt

Bad luck Sophia. I am thinking of doing this one again maybe late April? Have other rides and events planned up until then. Will see how people go with this one, may do a different option for the next. City to Sea and back, leave those who are happy at that distance, then continue on towards the hills for a bit for those wanting a longer ride.
