Comment by Don (Who's lost?) Nairn on April 27, 2012 at 22:42 Perhaps we should be more outraged by the speeding cyclists and the singage blocking the bike path?
If you can't ride well enough to avoid a slow Mr Wobbly coming up the path perhaps you need to put the trainer wheels back on your bike.
After all some Mr Wobblys ride their bike in the conventional manor
From the video it seemed he was reasonably straight and kept to the left.
Perhaps you should try riding backwards before you condemn it.
would backward racing at the Edwardstown vellodrome catch on?
Or would it be considered jut too silly for some?

Comment by Patrick O'Kane on April 20, 2012 at 23:09 Glad I wasn't riding down the veloway while you were trying that stunt. Ridiculous thing to try on a public thoroughfare.
Comment by Trevor Hill on April 20, 2012 at 22:54 Hors catégorie is a French term used in cycle races (most notably, the Tour de France) to designate a climb that is "beyond categorization", an incredibly tough climb. Most climbs in cycling are designated from Category 1 (hardest) to Category 4 (easiest), based on both steepness and length. A climb that is harder than Category 1 is designated as hors catégorie. The term was originally used for those mountain roads where cars were not expected to be able to pass.
Stay tuned you won't be disappointed.
That has to rank as a Hors Categorie of stupidity.
What an excellent promotion of responsible cycling - you should be very proud. Can't wait for the next video instalment of cycling advocacy.
