What's the point of new pedals if you can get the old ones off. So stuck ! ( and yes, I am turning them the right way)

Have a long handled pedal spanner if you need one Angus...

I'm half way there. The first one went off with a crack. I used a wrench on the hex too. I've given up now and dosed the remaining one in WD40. With one off it gives me less leverage.

I got Keo Carbon Blades

A few times I had to resort to using the universal screwdriver (hammer) to give the end of the allen key a bit of a tap, the trick is getting everything in the right orientation so the cranks dont spin or the allen key fly off and take out an eye or something!

What pedals did you buy?

Thanks Tim. I've got a wrench but Look don't use them and my hex is usually enough. I've got a bit if wd40 on it at the moment. Note to self, grease the new ones!

Hot air gun on the ends of the cranks to expand them (assuming you have metal cranks).

Do you need to borrow a pedal wrench, or are they the allen key only type?
