The Great Cycling God in the Sky said

The cycling lord in the sky said that I would go on a training ride.

By the cycling lord it was said that I would go out and climb.

And it was said that I would climb Norton Summit three times.

And upon reaching the summit, I would descend, only to turn around and climb right back up.

And on the first time, I would ride as hard as I could, to achieve a personal record

And it was done.

And on the second time, I would ride intervals, until my legs were screaming

And it was done.

And on the third time, I would hope to reach the top without falling over sideways.

And it was (just) done.

Ouch! Didn't happen to see the Climbing Cyclist's post about repeats last week did you? There were some nasty stories in there.

Thanks! Really trying to get as fast as possible before going on holidays for two months and losing all semblance of form.

I hadn't seen the Climbing Cyclist's post, but I had a look, some of the rides on there were terrifying!
