The cycling lord in the sky said that I would go on a training ride.
By the cycling lord it was said that I would go out and climb.
And it was said that I would climb Norton Summit three times.
And upon reaching the summit, I would descend, only to turn around and climb right back up.
And on the first time, I would ride as hard as I could, to achieve a personal record
And it was done.
And on the second time, I would ride intervals, until my legs were screaming
And it was done.
And on the third time, I would hope to reach the top without falling over sideways.
And it was (just) done.

Comment by Sam Young on October 16, 2012 at 23:46 Thanks! Really trying to get as fast as possible before going on holidays for two months and losing all semblance of form.
I hadn't seen the Climbing Cyclist's post, but I had a look, some of the rides on there were terrifying!
