At this time of year newspapers are full of list of the best…TV shows, movies of the summer, gourmet hamburgers, whatever….

So I thought what about an AC list? I don’t pretend to know everything about everyone on AC, so I’ll start and I call on others for nominations and suggestions for categories. So here’s a chance to highlight great contributions or contributors and show them a bit of love. Remember we are trying to be nice (and maybe a bit humourous) here.

PS I don’t think we need to pick winners just make an amusing list

Best series of blog posts

Dahondude’s series of blog posts about the 3 peaks ride - The preparation posts showed the lengths some people will go to get ready for a bike ride and the description of the ride itself was comprehensive and entertaining (and obviously provided inspiration for some)

Most entertaining blogger

Snappy Don - Don’s sense of humour and obvious love of cycling came shining through this year. And his posts were always good for showing us how to not take it all so seriously

Most useful discussion post

Most controversial poster

Biggest splash in 2011 – this has to go to Miss PP (the king is dead. Long live the king)

Biggest heart – Mark Ferguson

Most inspirational story – Lisa Payne

Honorary awards for reassuring predictability (we always know where we stand and what to expect from them)  – Doddsy, Bicyclefish, Heather

Regular contributions to lots of different discussions – Patrick O’Kane, Rob Rau, Katrina

Best picture from a ride (not professional)

Use of AC to promote group rides – Gawler Wheelers

Best AC event in 2011 – Mad Hatters Ride/AK birthday, H’Eroica, Corkscrew Challenge`

AND FINALLY the Angus Kingston Award for being Angus Kingston goes to..…Angus Kingston!!!
