SSRC P Plus ride - Trevor is re-introduced to his lonely bike

Saturday the 7th of July 2012 saw the introduction of a new, most difficult, route number 5 to the SSRC P ride collection. This route was around 60 km's and included around 700 meters of climbing.

The Worst Choice of P rides/L rides for Trevor to start with

I have been trying to get Trevor out on an SSRC group ride for a long time but his work and personal commitments have not aligned to allow him to attend. He is not new to riding but has ridden very little in the last 12 months. I know he went on two rides from Seacliff to Outer Harbour, one on 03/09/2011 and the second on 26/11/2011. I am not aware of any other rides he has been on since!

Today He was Re-introduced to his Bike

The ride available today was the "SSRC P ride, Route #5"! With so little riding of late Trevor's fitness has dropped of significantly and so we suspected he may struggle a little with this ride. No one was really worried as they were happy enough to wait at each regroup for us to catch up. Because I had brought, coaxed, encouraged, Trevor to come along I was also happy to be TEC.
