Ride #63 South along Coast to Vines returning along Southern Expressway bike track

At 5:32am today I set off on a ride just spinning. I do not know what my cadence was as I do not have a cadence sensor. I know I was spinning quicker than my normal rides. I used the small chain ring a lot.

Completed 27.3km in 71m07s, 2m36s/km, 23 kph, 4,033 KJ's, 114/159 Avg/Max HR.

I did use the big chain ring for the two climbs, the Strava "Brodie Road Hill" and "Glenloth Creek climb North"  climbs. Both of these I managed to PR on today moving into 9th place overall out of 112 riders for the "Brodie Road Hill" from a previous 15th place and moved up a couple of spots to 77th of 120 riders on the "Glenloth Creek climb North"  climb.

It was about 14c, cloudy and easterly winds around 30 kph. It was the conditions that made me decide to spin today.

There isn't much else I can say about todays ride except it was better to ride than sleep in ;-)
