Met up with a few mates at the Tower Hotel this morning. Weather didnt look too bad, except for a little fog up in the hills. Met Angus also at the bottom of Norton Summit :D

Starting up Norton Summit it became gradually colder and colder as we ascended and began to slightly dirzzle. Thought we would just cruise up Norton Summit as didn't want to waste all our energy before reaching Mt Lofty.

At the top of Norton Summit it was quite coolish, but not to bad with a jacket on, so we continued towards Mt Lofty. Gradually got more foggy as we continued until we could hardly see withing 3 or so metres of what was in front! Indecisive of wheter to skip Mt Lofty and decend down Greenhill quickly changed as we reached the turn off's. Greenhill Road would have been as slippery and quite dangerous so we continued up towards Mt Lofty. Temperature kept dropping and the fog increased and we were absolutely freezing cold! But, we pushed through it and made Mt Lofty :D Temperature at Mt Lofty was 10 degrees but felt a lot colder!

Rest in the nice and warm cafe was definately worth it :)

We finally left the Cafe and made our way to the dreaded decent that would most probably turn us and our bikes to ice :P Our fingers were numb, could hardly brake, but overall definately worth it as I havn't been for a ride outside the velodrome for a while now.

Definately going out to by leg or knee warmers :P
