My First Time up to Norton Summit - WOMGiE

Before I go to far the name of the group is W.O.M.G.i.E., Created by Gus K, stands for Wednesday Morning, OMGod it's Early! They start the group ride from the Tower Hotel in Magill at 6am. I personally do not think its that early but hey, that's just me :-)

Hey Steve, good to meet you for your first WOMGiE.  I don't think you got Norton on its best day!  Norton is my favourite climb (Anstey is probably second).  One of the things I like about it (other than the challenge and its flatter sections) is how beautifully scenic it is.  Unfortunately the fog was so thick it was hard to see the edges of the road at times let alone the twinkling lights of the city!  I hope you come back for WOMGiE on a clear morning and give it another crack - I assure you it will be worth it!
