I had been given unsatisfactory remarks about any iPhone apps that could do the map|time|distance tracking that I would like on my phone. Then I read that someone else was using Run Keeper Lite (RK_free) and they didn't seem to be complaining about it. I plan to use this next time I ride (whenever that will be) but wanted to know if anyone had had any experience with this app previously.
This is the blog it was mentioned on (towards the bottom of the page) and more about the app here.

Hi,

I saw this on Wired - 5 iPhone apps that replace bike hardware - a brakelight is ingenious and this:

I've been using iTrail for nearly 12 months on my iphone and I reckon it's great. I use a mac as well, and upload the gps tracks to Trail Runner. Upload is easy, connects straight away with your iphone and mac on the same wifi network.

Gives you all the usual stuff, speed, distance, altitude. As iTrail uses gps to track your journey, the latest update also records the temp. That's a nifty one! The diary section of Trail Runner has plenty of other options too. Record your weight, selection tool for different bikes if you ride more than one etc...

It'd be good to hear about useful iPhone apps. It might inspire me to get one!

I have a Nokia Navigator 6110 and run Nokia Sports Tracker software. It's excellent - has distance, altitude, speed, average, direction, graphs and records the track for uploading to the site including any pictures you might have taken along the way and is exportable to Google and GPX so you can get it on Bikely.com etc.

I won't share my training diary because it's so pathetic!
