Continuing to Strengthen my Knees - Target Cadence 65-75

Endurance and Strength building

My latest training scheme is to rise from a good nights sleep and consume nothing but water until after my ride is complete. Combining this with a cadence range of 65-75 seems to be working to help me loose weight while optimizing my body's efficiency burning fat. By riding a medium length ride, over 2 hours in duration, and interleaving each riding day with a rest day my body seems to be recovering well. Recovery is aided with the intake of a water based protein shake providing 10g of carb and 30g of protein as soon as my ride is complete.

under 80KG's Trent, 79 KG's is a good weight for me, not as lean as you ;-)

i wish i was lean. sitting at between 79-80 at the moment myself but hard to maintain =-(

I hit over 89 kg's the other day and am currently on my way back down after being 82 kg's previously :-(

89 is nothing!  you aren't trying hard enough.  There is a ton to be cracked!

I have been 120 kg's and don't ant to go anywhere near there ever again! Thats EVER AGAIN!

yeah i hear you on that one. my heaviest was 100kg on the dot. I dont want to see 83kg again!  =-)

no Steve...plenty of FUIC to strengthen the bones.  That will also keep me at my comfortable 65kgs.
