Some of you may remember Princess from my earlier blog post about my bikes: http://www.adelaidecyclists.com/profiles/blogs/my-bikes

In the months since, I've... mostly left her sitting there.

But in the last couple of weeks, perhaps in an attempt to avoid exam revision, I've stripped her down, painted her up, and replaced most of the parts.  (I do still need a brake though)

The result is below:

Bewdy! Not sure the wheels suit the frame though.

me neither. I might try removing the stickers from them.

But at $65, they were a pretty good choice.  I will be interested to see how well they last.

Yep I reckon sticker removal will do the trick. They look too much like road bike wheels at the mo. Where did you get them for $65???

Had (or should I say still have) a set of those Stars Circle Panther wheels; just watch the spokes. Gave up on them after about six spoke replacements on the rear but I'm around the 90 kg mark and that's probably what did them in. Spokes (and the wheels) are available at cyclingdeal.com.au, drop them an email if you are looking for spares; around $3.50 each.

Thanks Dale. at about 65-70kg I shouldn't be too much of a strain. (hopefully!)
The wheels were an ebay buy. much as I try to patron the lbs as often as possible, I am a uni student on a budget! :P

had an interesting test ride into uni and back today. Still a fair bit of tweaking to do. (turns out the chain isn't perrfectly aligned yet)
