Cherry Gardens Loop

Went for a spin down the Veloway for the first time today, only halfway though. Turned off and went up Kenihans Rd around Happy Valley Resevour and then on to Windebanks Rd. And then I got lost in some part of Aberfoyle Park! Yikes!

Nice steep suburban back streets and lots of dead end streets - I had to take a narrow park track, fortunately suitable for the road bike, and ask a person walking their dog directions - thank-you lady, she was spot on and got me back onto the road to… Continue

New Top Speed

Cycled up Gorge Rd again today and over Checkers Hill - cracked 78.0Km/hr down the eastern flank!

Fantastic feeling as I pedaled hard and then went into a tuck.

Guess next time I'll have to look at an 80+ descent!

Amazing that the pros can crack 100+ - I remember last year on tv the chase motorbike was doing 111Km/hr following - incredible!
