Hi AllMy daughter has recently grown tall enough to ride on the back of our tandem (Trek T-900) so at last we can hit the road together (my daughter is visually impaired and a tandem is the only way to do this). My wife has a 20+ year old Gary Fisher which she used to ride vast distances and would like to get back into cycling.  It would need a complete re-build and probably isn't worth it.What to get the wife?Cycling would be road/dirt path, so a mountain bike isn't required. The bike needs to…See More

Hi Simon, I arrived at the cargo bike event about 2pm. Someone pointed out a tandem bike that had been converted to a cargo bike, so I guess you were nearby. Trying to remember if it used an Xtracycle or the one with the custom built large platform. Just checked your icon and yours has the custom built platform that looks very useful. Cheers, Heather

Hi Again, I have seen you cycling quite a few times but quite often you are a couple of hundred meters in front of me on the Lonsdale road. I vary my ride a lot depending how much time I have left myself to get to work. Most of the time via the Velo Way or via Lonsdale/Brighton Roads and home via the coast/coast to vines trail.
