David Zabriskie needs to eat fish to get enough iron?

Pro rider David Zabriskie went vegan last year and since has riden the best TT performances of his life. Recently though concerned associates said he should 'add in some salmon for iron'..

Five years is a long time to suffer and you still got back on your bike!

Step daughter went vegetarian for a month as part of her school Yr 12 research & vegan for a week. We followed a similar diet. Her cholesterol dropped markedly, I was surprised at the magnitude. I am overweight & struggle with the diet ( I love my meat) but do get inspired reading your blogs & the banana website. Keep up the good message.
