1st day off in 2 weeks and what a day to tick Mt. Lofty off the bucket list! Dropped the car off for a service @ 7:30, promptly hopped on 2 wheels instead of 4 & headed up the hill. After a few minutes rest at the summit, back on the bike & across to Greenhill Rd for the descent and back home before 10am with plenty of time left to complete the wife's to do list & keep myself out of the doghouse for at least another day.

hi there - is your Tuesday night hill climbing group still happening?
heather said… Torsten, sounds like you commute into the city. An invite to join Adelaide BUG, which I coordinate. The more members, perhaps the more authorities will listen, and the more effective my advocacy will become.
I like your avatar. I have directly invited my groups (and indirectly AC members) to a lunchtime coffee meet-up on Wednesday 6-Jun-2012. See http://www.adelaidecyclists.com/events/lunchtime-coffee-meet-up-for-my-birthday Will you be there?
Darren Evans said… Hey torsten, whats with the old ricardo road bike? Do I see a fixie in the making or just a retro ride? I now have two fixies and one more partly built. will try to send a couple of picture through. Cheers Daz.
