Hi Tara, I got your message about CycloX. I would love to have a go. The group was set up by Eeno and he picked a course and had a go but not much has happened. It does take some shaking but will happen. If you want to do a 'come and try' type event I will promote it to all members. I even thought about doing something on it for the podcast.
I reckon the best thing is to start a discussion in the group about where and when. Keep it simple and let the comments help decide how it will run. By posting to the group all members get an email by default anyway.
I also recommend cross posting the same (or similar) post to the main wall about CycloX and direct people to the group by the URL and encourage them to join. The group acts as a news letter.
I think it'd be great to do. A good winter activity!

It's interesting cyclocross is starting a movement in Adelaide. I hope you join Eeno's group to help it move along.
