- What bikes do you ride?
- For commuting I have a 1998 Cannondale CAD2 R300 aluminium-frame bike with Shimano 105 components, a Ground Effect 'Free Loader' pannier rack, and Ortlieb Back-Roller Plus panniers.
For rides other than commutes, (e.g. early morning hills rides, or weekend racing or training rides) I alternate between two carbon fibre bikes:
* A 2006 Specialized Roubaix Pro, with Dura-Ace running gear.
* A 2010 Cannondale Synapse 3 with Ultegra running gear

- Weekends, Commute, Racing

- I commute on weekdays, & participate in Cobwebs and/or Cancer Voices and/or Bike SA rides on weekends - averaging about 300 - 350k a week

When I head through this way, it is normally on one of my Victor return rides, & I only really stop at Victor on these for a quick bite before heading home again.
