Hi Roland, I live close to the city and am yet to cycle the old or new Belair Roads, especially when traffic during peak hour. So it would be a big deal for me too. Sometimes posts on AC hub seeking good routes between A and B. Not sure that there are options coming down onto the plains, unless you backtrack to Shepherd Hill Road. If you start a discussion will get ideas on how to avoid Unley and Goodwood Roads. Cheers, Heather
