chainline is critical...
a cheap conversion is to merely shorten an (old cheap) road bike's chain to a single sprocket on your cassette, and have a chain breaker handy or splitclasp on the chain link to ease wheel removal for flats repairs etc...…

Hi Angus, thanks for the welcome to AC...will spread thre word, lots from here head over to the TdU etc and manage to ride locally on visits, I recenlt worked with some locals trying to get racks on the Belair Line replacement buses when they upgrade the line, ( and wider across Adfelaide)... but usual intransigence from Government and beaurocracy about them not thinking about it first got in the way and they have raised unsubstanitaied furfeys to support their refusal to hlep out... so like Syderrley and Melburnt you guys are not alone in the struggle against anti-cycling effortsd of do little governments and whining self serving interests of the dinosaur car lobby...
Hi, Thanks for joining. I hope you can invite some others to join up as well. I thought Sydney and Melbourne have groups built on Nings so Adelaide was a likely place to have sucess with one too.
