The old stuff is still at the bike shop (it was one of their customers that was looking at buying it) but when I had a look at what was on the new bike it actually has a standard crankset & chainrings (53/39) and a 12-25 cassette on the back.
From memory, I'm pretty sure the first bike did have a compact set up but I'll pick up the old gruppo on the weekend and let you know.
