"Dont forget Prolite Bracciano's , from the Aus Dealer, they're in your budget, plenty of people of here running them. I had the box ticked for them, but some RS-80 C24's popped up at a price I couldn't refuse so got them instead."

"I've done it with a spray can of  blue metalic paint, came up fairly well. The brake pads soon wear off any paint on the side of the rims and being carefull was good enuf for me. I "accidentaly" decided to include the spoke…"

VeloAvenger replied to Paul S (Maximus)'s discussion Has anyone successfully repainted their aluminium rims?
"Not likely. You could get a small can of paint and a detail brush. Hold the brush next the the fork and spin the rim. My guess is they came powder coated, maybe first try rubbing compound to buff them out?  What if you got a bag of stickers and…"

Love to ride and raise money for cancer research. Do nearly all my own bike assembly and maintenance. I've got an obsession with buying cycling tops! Lucky to live near the Torrens so I ride from hills to sea along the linear park, have a coffee at Henley Beach and then ride back. Hate the cold weather. Apart from riding around Adelaide and SA, my other goal is to do a few big rides in New Zealand.

My other interests are photography, V8 supercars, astronomy, hiking, movies, travel.

I love my current job which involves helping communities recover from disasters such as floods and bushfires.
