I had a bit to do with this when the Road rules were rewritten 10 years ago, and was a little alarmed at the wording. It works out, however, that if the car comes from behind you (in the other lane) and hits you when exiting, it is the driver's faul…

Have emailed DTEI today 11 June. A firm is impeding cyclists on Main North Road, north of Regency Road, by digging trenches in the western lane, then storing the soil east of the trench. The road is narrowed so that cyclists must 'claim the lane' fr…

Great idea - fantastic! The only bidon filling stations I've seen have been on long endurance rides. Usually long straight lengths of timber (like a trestle) with several taps. Or the same kind of set up in a triangle. Having something like that b…

All I can say at this point is good luck ;-) Was at Clarks Cycles today lusting over the Gazelle bikes that Kevin is now stocking- including the Cabby http://www.flickr.com/photos/eternitycycling/4013861294/ which is rather nice!

Hi Paul, Welcome to Adelaide Cyclists - thanks for joining up. I think if you like riding bikes with character you have found the right online community for you.

I hope you get something out of it and you can share it with your other cycling friends. We hope that sometime in the near future we will organise a meet-up of some kind and a group ride.

Regards
Angus
