Alpe d' Huez cinema screening at Mercury Cinemas

This is a private function for Adelaide Cyclists members. Friday 22 July is Stage 19 of the Tour De France climbing the famous Alpe d' Huez. The race is at an exciting time. Will Cadel take the maillot juane?Mercury Cinemas in the city will show the stage on the big screen.We can ride our bikes to the cinema wearing lycra and a Pro Team jersey if you have one.See More

Tuesday Morning Mount Lofty Madness

We ride to Mt Lofty via the Old Freeway every Tuesday morning. We meet at the corner of Portrush Rd and Mt Barker Rd (aka the Freeway) next to the big gum tree (NOT at the Tollgates) at 5:50am and aim to be back at the start by 7:00 am.

Hi Nat,

Welcome to Adelaide BUG. Most of my cycling is utility, with occasional recreation, MTBing and now planning to try unsupported touring. Adelaide BUG has an emphasis on improving cycling conditions (as stated at the top of the web age) so let me know of hazards. The intro says that members can organise an occasional social ride or coffee meet. You might be interested in also joining North Terrace Precinct BUG (run by a uni staff member). If you check out the AC groups, many organise events you would enjoy, including riding in the hills.
