Nice of you to drop in I hope you will support the repeal of bike helmet laws and end discrimination against bike use and users such as myself.
20 Years of failure and no proof of benefit is enough reason to end this law now.

What is the present greens party view on repealing bike helmet laws ?
Are they aware of the repressive and damaging effect this law has on green transport for so long now. ?
Very exciting! I think it will be a valuable asset; any chances to also make it for Android?
heather said… Hi Mark,
Welcome to Adelaide Cyclists and 3 cycling advocacy groups that I coordinate (Adelaide BUG, Look For Cyclists and Vote For Cyclists). I already send the monthly BUG News to your office. In the current issue that I emailed this week, your public post on AC of 15-May-2012 appears on page 11 under 4.1 Cyclist safety campaign.
We met briefly at the opening of the Mike Turtur overpass as I passed around a petition to keep bicycle lanes on arterial roads. Yes, you signed it.
In my Dec-2011 submission to the National Transport Commission, I referred to Look For Cyclists where I had collated links to AC posts on cycling incidents (Collisions, Near Misses, and Cyclists Assaulted or Objects Thrown) to indicate that improvements are needed in Australian Road Rules and Vehicle Design Rules.
All Adelaide BUG members are invited to a cycling coffee meet-up tomorrow / Wednesday lunchtime at Aroma Cafe on North Terrace. Understand if you are busy. Info at

Cheers, Heather
