Hi All I wonder what chance we have of educating the public about sharing the road given what occurred to me this morning. I was doing my usual short but, hairy commute from Eastwood to Unley, along…Continue
"Glad that you are ok, Michael
I use Greenhill Rd in the mornings and have often had cars pulling out in fronnt of me from both the left and the right. The problem appears to be that they are looking into the sun and often during the early morning we…"
"The thing is, if it is one person on a scooter zipping around a few cars and not impacting anyone directly, it isn't really a problem. It becomes a problem when, as happened to me the other day, on Greenhill Rd, I was a lone cyclist…"
I am glad that you are ok. I also use the "take the lane" approach at roundabouts and find that it is reasonably effective.

I stated this website just over a year ago and today saw its biggest growth which is bittersweet for all of us who are regulars. I am happy this community had had somewhere to express its feelings.
I hope you can be a part of this community.. it's usually a lot of fun.
