Hey Lee

Thanks for the friend request, not sure about the road captain thing though. Not really my thing to say too much out on the ride,  just trying to breathe most of the time lol. Frank making me Road Captain was his way of getting me to finally write a post :) Some people are just very sneaky

Hi Lee, thanks for sending the 'friend' request mate. I have been just telling Terry about my little fiddlings to try to make my bike fell like the old one. I am going to have a bike a bit different to others out there, despite me trying to blend in witht he rest of the fleet. This is because to get it to the same dimensions as the old bike I have had to rotate the handle bars about 45 degrees downwards.

That is because of the much longer stem on the new bike. So it does look a bit odd now, with the brake/gear shift levers almost tucked under the handle bars, instead of being out in front. Anyway it is actally a lot easier to use the brakes/gears with them down there, so I don't care about the looks!

I didn't ask you how you are going with the new bike. I think I heard you talking to Gary about getting used to some differences between it and the one that got stolen, on your first ride that day - up to Tanunda. So how are you feeling about it now. Still getting used to it, or all sorted?

I am hoping for a ride down the SOB around the 4.00 - 5.00 timeslot tomorrow. Might come across the regular Tuesday night crew. I need to try to get in some km before Saturday so I feel fairly comfortable on it before mixing with a big crowd!
