Hi, I am coming down to Adelaide in a couple of months time and am wondering which are the best coffee shops for cyclists in Adelaide. I lived in Woodville for 5 years when i was a young lad and…Continue
"How about a plug for the Visitor Centre at McLaren Vale.Have only stopped there once, but these guys were using coffee from Villere Coffee at Blewitt Springs - another vote for local boutique roasters, and the young lass behind the machine pulled a…"
"OK so when you make it up to Birdwood stop at the Blumberg Cafe next to the Pub, they have been providing coffee for our Saturday group for ages & now under new ownership continue to support us, an expanding sweets menu also helps & soon to…"
"I can definately add to this as having been in the trade for 20 years and to some extend still am as a 2nd job.
I can highly recommend any of the Cibo's around town except the airport one for obvious reasons.
They even have their…"
"Vagabondo on O'Connell St next to the ANZ, family run place, nice food, cater for celiacs and are happy for you to lock your bike to the terrace railing, they also have customer loyalty cards, 8th coffee is free."
"Thumbs up for the Coffee Barun.....How could I have forgotten the Coffee Barun..not only fantastic coffee and great food, but having the coffee beans raw, for sale and the smell...Bellissimo!

"I've found these to be cyclist friendly, and most importantly, a few of them make some of the best coffee you'll get in Adelaide:
Coffee Branch - Leigh St, Adelaide CBD
Taylor Blend - Hallett Rd, Stoneyfell
Cafe #12 - Halifax St
Down by the Council's Town Hall there are unique bike racks...Muratti's is a short walk south, past a few other shops that may take your eye! The Master Plan you will see being built along Prospect Road includes much more…"
"I'm another fan of Muratti's - they use Rio coffee which can be found in a number of cafes, but they do very good things with it. AND the cakes/pastries etc are to die for.
Can anyone vouch for the 'cyclist-friendly' nature of…"
"Thank you to all of your help i think we will be buzzing and riding really fast with all of these great sounding coffee shops. Adelaide is still full of great helpful people glad to see somethings don't change.
With 16 bikes you are definitely a 'real' cyclist then. I am a real cyclist (although some think I do not look like one because I do not wear lycra). The bike is my main transport -- last year I drove my car on only 22 days. AC members Sophia and Jeremy do not own cars. Between them and three offspring, their household has 27 working bikes. With so many bikes, does it lead to indecision on which bike to ride that day?
Welcome to Adelaide Cyclists. I did not know it was possible to cycle with so much skirt -- I would catch it in the wheels. Is that really you / your wife on your wedding day? If so, I would love to hear more about it.
