The sound coming from the brakes is not affecting braking performance,especially if the bikes are fitted with low end Shimano Disc setups then this noise is normal.

Check rotor bolts are ALL at even/correct torque

"The cause is often the pads rubbing on the spokes of the rotor. Small washers to space the caliper out further so the pads only rub the brake surface can be the solution.

Adelaide to Melbourne: Anyone Interested?

Don't know if this is the right place to post this ... but I'm here now, so here goes.
I'm planning on riding Adelaide to Melbourne along the Great Ocean Rd. Setting out on Monday 28 November and taking 10-11 days. I've done this ride on three previous occasions and thought it would be nice to have company this time - perhaps 3 - 4 people along. Let me know if you're interested.
