New bike!

Picked up my Specialized Allez Sport Compact tonight, managed a whole 2 minutes before I hit the ground and skun a knee - because it's my first bike with cleats :) Hopefully that's out of my system…Continue

PACC's FOCUS CX & The City at Adelaide Park Lands

This Winter 2011 Port Adelaide Cycling Club will run CX races for everyone in the heart or Adelaide.  Men and women, of all ages from the littlest kids right through to those of us who are old enough to know better.  Something new, fun, challenging and different.  Don't be shy if you don't know what you're doing - none of us do!  All of us are complete beginners at CX.  Join us for this winter's fun!

"I dont have to be home by 8am this weekend, so i'll try to do part of the veloway ride down and turn off at Lander Road); but I'll be having breakfast before I leave :) I know I won't be able to keep up on the veloway, either :)"

"Probably because I never use anything but cleats, it is not something I have any problems with. However one thing I have found useful and would recommend is practicing your trackstands, every time you need to stop for lights, etc do a trackstand for…"

Always been interested in bikes and racing, did a lot of BMX in teens and early 20s, now I need to get back on a bike, primarily for fitness but also interested in racing at some point :)
