Pele Ton said… Pleased to see you enjoying yourself in Barmera. Nice quiet place to ride. But your right not many hills. Those magpies have been there for years, I go a different way to avoid them.
Loc Nguyen said… Hello Gus,
Firstly thanks for building such an awesome community. Whilst it doesn't show it from my limited posts, the Adelaide Cyclist website is one of my favourite cycling specific websites. Its great to meet, albeit briefly the creator.
Also thanks for the tips and kind encouragements. I'm taking your advice on board and will be intending to ride as much hills as time permits so I can be in shape for the 2nd edition of the "bakers dozen".
Cya out there on the road.

Others lost 5kgs or more kilos but I only made a small dent in my last 5gks. It was very obvious, however, that any weight-loss results in increased climbing…

Colin Freestone and Cycle Indonesia are taking bookings again for their North Sulawesi cycle tour this May.
Colin has been cycling in Indonesia since 1995. Beginning 2009 when his touring business began he's led many trips with 80+ riders on Sulawesi, which is that spidery shaped Indonesian island north of Bali and east of Borneo. Most of the riders are 50+ and 40% are women. Over the years…

I will preface this by saying I didn't ride my bike to the Campbelltown Moonlight Markets. I was out dropping one son to Joeys before taking the other shopping where I saw the flyer.
Campbelltown's Moonlight Markets were…

Hello,
How good was Sunday's weather for cycling. Mild, still and if you were a part of Gear Up Girl, or just out for a ride, it's days like Sunday that remind us Adelaide is s great place to ride and it's no wonder there are now 2000 members on the website.…
