Matt "Boz" said… Maybe we should organise a Focus only bike ride :-)
Shav (shavanel) Bird said… That's exactly what Noel told me too Angus. I didn't realize he viewed Focus frames higher than Orbea until he told me. He wasn't overly forthcoming with that information either until I asked him for an honest opinion. It also didn't sound like he was trying to up sell either.
That said though, I have nothing against Orbea, they are a great looking frame, and have quality components, and a fantastic warranty but the paint scheme, frame design and overall look of the bike didn't overtly strike me as masculine as the Focus frame. (don't publicly quote me on this...haha) I guess it all comes down to opinion, but that is mine.
Noel also mentioned how he had very few Focus bikes back with warranty issues, but also stated that there was no such thing as a perfectly built bike. So expect excellent quality but don't expect perfection, and bring the bike in if adjustments are required.
I am real excited about the bike fit tomorrow. Sounds pretty dumb but I have never had anything custom made for me ever, and to be able to get this sort of attention to detail towards a sport that I have grown to really enjoy is fantastic. It's an experience I will gladly share once all is done.

Hello,
I think there is evidence enough that this spring has been the worst for magpie swooping and there is no science for it that I can see. Our swoop map has over 130 placemarks and has been viewed over…

Hello bicycle lovers.
Spring has sprung and to celebrate Adelaide Cyclists has two t-shirts to welcome the season.
The first is a request from recent fun posts about Cat6 racing (not sure what that is, read more here). The design is included on the Adelaide…
