Just to keep you up with Karen & Lisa's Gold coast Marathon run of 42.2 Klm's, they both completed it in good time and good spirt.
Karen finished in 4.28.34 105th out of 201 in her age group
Lisa finished in 4.37.30 23 of 51 in her age group.
Well done to them I think. Will try and send you some photo's
I was TEC for this ride. Thought it was going to be easy. After the hiccup with Craig's chain, the chase was on to catch up with the main group on Penfold road. From here on in we made the ride as easy as we could into windy conditions - until Two Wells - and then home with a tail wind.It appeared everyone enjoyed the ride. Thanks to all who participated. TIP - A spray with Mr Sheen and a wipe over stops the shit from sticking on a wet ride.
