Thanks Doddsy,

Mail Call is the company I've talked to and plan on meeting with next week. Luckily the bike in the photo is no longer with me, I have changed my daily ride to a practical SS for the work. I do plan on taking on the job as a short term source of cash and also for a bit of fun but if I like it and the pay works out then I'll continue until something better comes up.

Thanks for your advice and wish me luck.

Cheers, Lucas

it does show a 5.6% increase in motor vehicle use for the period after Mhl's were introduced.
I cannot read the table. Need to consider other factors, like more women in the work force and women's wages increasing, therefore more women buying cars and driving, than catching public transport.

back in adl last sunday and not going on to sydney. realised would be off my bike for a few weeks but also unable to carry backpack while sightseeing. saw my gp which prompted 7 medical appts this week. mullumbimby nsw hospital missed that i have a hand fracture and broken arm. actually a broken shoulder which doctor said is the worst type of fracture. later there will be 3 months of extensive physio. doctor questioned if i could afford it. can you enquire about nsw councils and any liability for injuries caused by poor road maintenance. i know that in sa authorities have attempted to limit any liability via statute law.

G'day and welcome to AC.

It's really great to see some single speed riders joining up. This site is really more about 'urban riding' (although there are a few roadies and MTB riders as well). I think there are some genuinely interested riders who want to know more about riding and building fixed - like me!

I/we hope you get something from the site and you can contribute with some posts or by adding some pictures or videos (you can add interesting YouTube clips easily). You can also join, or create your own, subgroups.

Thanks for answering the sign up questions. The beer one is simply about filtering out the non-Adelaide people (spammers).

In the next little while we are planning on a meet up or swap meet of some kind.

Welcome again!

Cheers
Angus
