"Whites Road is the Adelaide Hills cobbled section = Adelaide Roubaix...saw this section on the map and let the tyre pressure down a little which helped"

"That was the only negative today. I thought the rest of the route was good, the organisation, food stops, signage was excellent. I haven't done a slam for a couple of years and the rider behaviour today was just about faultless from what I saw."

Hello and welcome to Adelaide Cyclists. I don't think either of us need much introduction!

Please used the events calendar on this site to publicise BicycleSA events. I was just thinking the future events were drying up a bit and I'd need to crack the whip to get some more in it. I think it's worth putting lots in there. For example Gina, who you responded to, only bought a cheap bike in about October and challenged herself to ride the TDU. She is just one of many who can set goals by being part of this and other online communities that inspire them.

I also hope you can encourage your members (again!) to join up and use this community as a way of sharing a love of their cycling or raise cycling related issues.

All the best.
Angus
